(Don't freak out mom, I'm kidding about the title) sorta… ;)
Hello y'all.
Listen, Daytona and Windermere are not the same.
I literally went from mansions to trailer parks. But I love every inch of it.  I've never heard "I reckon" more in my entire life.
Let me tell you about Daytona, it's awesome. I honestly feel like it has so much potential. It's much bigger than my last area. We share the area/Ward with the Zone leaders. And the senior missionaries live in the apartment below us so that's pretty cool.
DAYTONA!!!Driving to our next appointment. Pure bliss. This is my area!

When I first got here, my third companion (Sister Stevenson) wasn't here yet, so I just got to unpack and get to know Sister Peterson, and she's awesome. I adore her.

What did we doooooo this week?
We helped this one less active sister clean up her house and then had a lesson. Lots of…older people live in Daytona. So there are tons of retirement communities. She lived in this tiny house and she's a bit of a hoarder. So she wanted us to help move all these bags of food on the floor to another side of the kitchen. Ah, I would pick one bag up and cockroaches would flee into the wilderness like Laman and Lemuel.
We also went to do service at this Jewish church. We were giving bags of food to the homeless people. It was slightly disappointing if I'm going to be honest, because it seemed more like a publicity stunt. Like the news was there making us take so many pictures. Come on! Ha-ha-ha. One of the local news reporters was so frustrated that I would only say my name is "Sister Sorensen."
The rest of the week was pretty crazy honestly. We're just trying to figure everything out. We visited a bunch of less actives and met a bunch of members of the Ward. One of my favorite Ward members so far is DJ. He and his stepson live in the Ward, and he's seriously the glue. He will do anything for anyone. He's this red neck ex-Baptist preacher from Georgia. And listening to him talk is hilarious. Aw man, I wish you could all just be here. It's amazing.
You know me being super OCD, I've been going through every inch of our area book and making lists this week of who we need to go see. And members of the Ward and info we have on them. I'm very excited for this upcoming week! I just want to go out there and work hard and see all the miracles that I know God has in place for us.

I've just having to be patient with myself, because you know how I feel when I don't know what's going on… I hate it. I just want to know everything about this area already. But I'm so surprised how much I've come to know in just a week.
I know Heavenly Father is mindful of me that I'm sure of. I’ve learned that this week.
Thanks for sending me pictures of Hailey’s return. Hailey looks amazing! I can’t believe she’s home.

Thank you for all the prayers for transfers, certainly I could feel them.
I know our Savior is on my side, I know he lives.
Thank you so much family! This was the best gift of my life.
