We had
another amazing week. We got transfer calls on Saturday and I'm staying in Lake
Nona with Sister Staten, woo hoo! I'm really excited; she's awesome, mainly
because she paints with me at night ha-ha! I also found out my trainee Sister
Schomaker is training! She'll be great!
There's
always a great spirit of optimism before a new transfer, almost like a
"fresh start" 🙂
Dear in Florida |
Overall,
things are going well. It's a pretty wealthy area so it is kind of hard to find
people and we're super busy with a lot of exchanges and meetings. However, we
got a lot of work done this week cleaning out our area book and old numbers in
the phone, which was definitely needed. I'm pumped to get back on the grind
this transfer and find some new people. I'm excited to keep working with
Jennifer, we haven't been able to see her much but we're seeing her tomorrow!
Another
awesome thing that happened was Sister Cordon from the General
Primary
Presidency came to our sacrament meeting! She didn't speak in the meeting but
she hugged us and told us that she's going to tell the first Presidency that
the sister missionaries in Orlando Florida are doing great ha-ha!
I've
been studying a lot in the New Testament this week and it's been incredible to
learn a lot more about the Savior and His life and teachings. My heart is
filled with gratitude for a knowledge of Him in my life. I don't know what I
would do without a knowledge of this gospel, and I hope and pray every day that
we will be able to find as many people who will listen to our wonderful message
as possible.
Love
you!
