Dearest Sarah Elizabeth
Your letter is the bestest missionary letter ever.
Makes me wanna be with you. Sister missionaries can be so fun, Spiritual, take chances, smart, wise, hard-working, kind, make other's feel good about themselves, sensitive, obedient, successful, righteous, beautiful, silly, brave, gutsy, outwork the elders, see life's important things, show love, make tremendous memories, and more.
One of my greatest times was knocking doors in the St Louis Mission with a petrified new sister who ended up being an example for good to the whole group of her sisters.
Thank you for sharing your experiences with us all. We are so proud of you for taking this time & way to show your Heavenly Father your love & Gratitude by serving Him.
Hugs/ love, & "HAPPY THANKSGIVING"

Dearest Sis Sarah E.
You are also strengthening my testimony with these outstanding weekly missionary letters. I wept when you quoted Nephi. You seem to be one of those rare sister missionaries that we counted on when we served in St Louis.
We've worried & prayed for your safety as the news reaches us each day about where you are serving. I know the Church and your mission prez will always protect you.
Wow, talk about journal entries. !!!!! We pray for your safety, success, good health. We take the Deseret News. You'd faint if you knew what we read and hear about what's going on in your area. These clippings should be saved for your kids, they'd never believe it. Never fear, when the Lord is near. We love you and are very proud of what you are doing. Thank you for being one of those rare sister missionaries that keep working hard and make a huge difference for your mission. Also, outstanding SERVENT for the Lord. And representing the Sorensen family. We love you Sarah.

Thanks!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Sarah's weekly posts. I'm so proud of the woman she is and continuing to become! I feel like I'm reliving my mission through her posts. It's brought back so many memories that I've either forgotten or just haven't thought of in a long time. I sent her an email yesterday and got all teary-eyed writing to her. What made me cry was the realization that so many of my last memories of Aunt Mollie are interwoven with my mission. I don't know if you remember that I came home 6 months early because I was sick. My president had given me permission to talk with her on the phone to help me out since he knew she was using alternative means to battle cancer. She was such a great help in guiding my medical care, emotional and spiritual support. Then I was at home on medical leave for 3 months before getting released. Then about two weeks after being released I went to Utah to visit because Mollie kept begging me to come stay with her so I did for a week.... then a week after I went back home the accident happened.
I loved my mission and all the wonderful friendships....yet there was so much heartache with no baptisms, going on the heels of my parents' separation, and health challenges that it made it a very difficult period and LOTS of personal growth. I told Sarah that some of my closest friends (Kjerstina!!) were my mission companions and that I hope her and Sis Bromley backpack the world together!
We'd love to come stay in the cottage some time (or move in permanently! hahaa j/k).
Love you tons!!

Don and Rosana,
Your Sister Sorensen is darling! She's bright, fun, and filled with the Spirit (as her bishop told her). I love reading her emails. You must be thrilled at her attitude and success. I'm sure you can't wait for Christmas and that phone call. :) Thanks for your faith and example.
I love you guys,

Love this letter! Oh my goodness. These missionaries are having such an experience! And I love this family pic. Is that Molly there in the middle?
Hillary is on the island of Martinique. The eye of Hurricane Maria is about 35 miles to the north of her. We are a bit nervous. But we are hopeful and we have faith that all is well.
I am so glad Sister Sorensen is doing well. I will pass this along to Hillary!
Love,

HEELLLLLLO. sorry I'm really bad and just barely emailing you. I hope
you enjoyed talking to your daughter yesterday. It was so fun talking
to mine. Not my daughter but my family.
Sarah (I'm going to practice calling her that to you but not gonna lie
it rolls off the tongue weird. Haha) and I are rooting to gather back
together soon. That's basically the update with my life.
All is very well in Florida.
I love you. Hope Nora is still Nora and that you had a wonderful Mother's Day.
Love you momma Sorensen❤️❤️

Hi Sister Sorensen!
This is Sister Peterson! 😊 I served with Sister Sorensen for 3 weeks in Daytona!
I saw her this past week to pick up our greenies and thought I should write you! Just wanted to say that your daughter is a wonderful missionary and over all person. I'm grateful for her example and her love for this gospel and her desire to take it to the people of Florida. She is changing so many lives wether she knows it or not!
Oh man She's the greatest. It was very hard when I left. We were not happy about it but we have to do what we have to do! I'm demanding at least one more transfer with her Haha. And sister McCullough! We have many plans for after the mission! We will go home together which is really great! I know she had a bit of a hard transfer, especially sending Sister Stevenson home but her new greenie seems really amazing. And they will do so well together!
I hope you have a wonderful week!💛

Hi Sister Sorensen!
My name is sister brady, and I've had the pleasure of serving with
your daughter for almost all her mission. And let me tell you, it has
been the greatest blessing. You raised one incredible daughter, and
she is such an incredible missionary. You would be such a proud momma.
She has truly become one of my best friends, and I just feel so
grateful that I've had the blessing of having her in my life. I end my
mission on Wednesday, and my heart is full of so many crazy emotions.
I knew I couldn't leave until I emailed you, and thanked you for your
sweet girl. She is such a light, and has truly been such a blessing.
Love her! And love her momma!
Hope you have a wonderful week :)

Hello sister Sorensen! This is sister Naylor! I just wanted to send you a little email to let you know how thankful I am for your daughter! I have learned so many things from her, and I am forever grateful that I got to be her companion. If I were to talk about all the different lessons and insights I have learned, it would take me forever! I hope you know you have such an amazing daughter in your hands. She is going to do amazing things when she gets back. She has done amazing things here. There are many reasons why she needed to be here in Leesburg, for a lot of the people we are teaching, but I know personally that God knew that I needed her most. I love her with all my heart!! Thank you for raising her the way you did. I'm excited to be able to meet you and your family. ♡♡
