Kenisha, Qeesha, Shaniqua. = My life: Week 43

It's a Humid Sunday night. Two sister missionaries are Dinner-less. They decide to go to the church for Wi-Fi so they can do some lesson reporting during dinnertime instead. All is as usual in Holly Hill Chapel. Oh, there's your consistent movement of homeless people walking past the front doors, but no has tried to come inside today so odds are in the sisters favor. The two sister missionaries are just blissfully lesson reporting and watching some episodes of the district, when they could swear they hear someone tug at the back door. But they carry on. Then one sister hears someone in building, but the conversation is faint. She assures her companion that it's probably just some of the members using the building.
Suddenly... someone kicks open the cultural hall doors, flash light blaring yelling "THIS IS THE POLICE!" Another cop runs around the corner.
The two sister missionaries hearts are pounding,
But one just responds with a careful "Uh can we help you?"
The nice policeman enlightened the two young missionaries that half of the buildings doors are unlocked and they got a 911 call and hang up from inside the building....
So yeah those two sister missionaries left...

That's my story folks; it's a true one. That Sister missionary ….it’s me.

What else happened this week? How are my people?
I'll tell ya.

Leslie and Jessie. Awesome. Always. Yesterday they came to church, and ah they loved it. I love them.
Jess is so funny because she avoided us like the plague when we first went over there. She always laughs about it now. Yesterday she said "I use to beg Leslie not to open the door when y'all came over, now I'm just wondering why you don't come over more often." I've seen such a change in both of them, their countenance is lighter.

-Lou and Jason - They had priesthood blessings this week from some members in the Ward. I feel like a story in the Book of Mormon where I'm about to say it’s was too sacred to even talk about it.
Let me just say the spirit was so strong in that lesson that day, it felt like getting hugged from a million angels, and most Likely we were.

Funny story: Preface - I'm not a bad driver. So the other night we were driving home and my companion wanted some ice cream. And because I'm not a barbarian, we went.
So I had to turn left on this huge road in Daytona, which means I had to cross a lane and pass the median. Well long story short, I'm looking to make sure I don't get hit by any cars and I drive straight for the median! So I make a sharp turn, and now I'm in the wrong lane, going the wrong direction. I'm just screaming my head off while my companions laughing eating an ice cream cone.
By divine intervention I didn't hit it.

-Training: So seeing as Sister Schomaker is in her 2nd transfer of training. I just had to make things more interesting. We had two "twists" the other day, I explained number 1 to her in the morning - #1: For finding we were just going to ride our bikes for 2 hours and talk to everyone outside. As we left and got outside and ready to go, helmets on. I gave her the second twist.
#2: She would bike ahead of me, I'll would tell her where to go, but it is her job to stop and talk with everyone we pass first.

And look at her she did awesome!
This is her first friend to pass, I just rode silently behind her while she taught a beautiful Restoration.

The whole way, right up to the ladies front door.

-This Weeks Read: Here I want to share with you something I read this week that I liked very very much:
“To say that all churches are true is to say that all paths lead to the same place. It is to say there is no agency, no power of action, no right of choice. It is to say that inactivity is to be as valued as activity, that ignorance is to be as valued as intelligence, that good has no supremacy over evil, and that Christ is no better than the devil.” “To those who act offended that we would say there is but one true and living church, we might ask if these same people would, when sick, be willing to take any randomly selected combination of drugs to cure what ails them or administer the same to their children? Would they substitute sand for flour when baking bread, arguing that as long as they were sincere, it could not possibly make any difference? Would they fill their gas tank with water, arguing that it too was a true liquid and was also a creation of God and that God loved all liquids the same?..... We simply do not argue that all doctors are the same, that all medicines are the same, that all exercise is the same, that all food is the same. No one takes offense at such announcements. How strange is it that we take offense at their spiritual counterparts?...... There can be no good save there is darkness. Success exists only where there is the possibility to fail. Courage exists only where there is the temptation to flee with the cowards. There can be truth only if there is that which is untrue. The two are not interchangeable; they do not and cannot bring forth the same fruits.” —Joseph Fielding McConkie

As you know, if you know me well. I passion rant. If I believe in something I'm not the least bit held back on it. I'm very passionate about the things, places and people I love.
I appreciate you who in my life have let me passion rant freely (Mom) (Frances) (Kate)
Just know I passion rant about you too.
In respect to the above quote, I believe strongly in this. All paths don't lead to the same place
Now that would be quite unfair and proud of a Church to believe such a thing and deny others the blessing. But think about it, a Church that believes it to be the only one and true living church, sends out 18 & 19 year olds to preach about it, to give up worldly desires, and hit the pavement day after day, knocking every door so that others will know about the blessing of the right bath! The flour instead of sand! We bless those who didn't get the opportunity in temples.
I ask Heavenly Father to bless me with a missionary spirit for the rest of my life.
Real charity for me has become knowing the gospel, and being converted to it yourself first. And then being wise enough to recognize the blessing we've received and share it out of thankfulness.

Basically we just like wearing facemasks, and I like making treats for people.
